Yes, Yes, Everybody Wants to Win the Lottery

I have read that Native Americans were enamored of the guns and other shiny tech of the Whites. I have read that this probably helped foster their downfall. 

They didn't have the ability to manufacture bullets or the high grade oils needed. The lubricated them with bear fat and then slept with their guns to keep them warm enough to be capable of shooting.

Simply buying a gun doesn't make you the equal of the White man. It's a little like wanting the golden eggs without owning the goose.

Women who want salaries like a man without really understanding how that happens want the golden eggs without the hassle involved in forging themselves into the goose.

I did what I did on Hacker News hoping to become the goose.

I still have no golden eggs.

I'm also not sleeping with a gun lubricated with bear fat and out of bullets with no means to make more.
